How to use
Use after preparing your skin with lotion, emulsion, and makeup base. Use instead of foundation for a natural-looking finish, or as a finishing touch to foundation or makeup for a powdery look. We recommend using it in conjunction with a MAQuillAGE makeup base, which provides UV protection. Apply an appropriate amount to the brushed white side of the puff and spread it from the center of your face outward. Use the remaining face powder on the puff to finish your forehead, around your eyes, nose, and mouth. For a natural glow, we recommend using the sponge side (beige). For extra coverage, we recommend layering. Using too little will result in insufficient UV protection. <How to Place in the Case> Remove (1) Dramatic Face Powder (refill), (2) puff, and (3) clear film. Be sure to place them in the "MAQuillAGE Dramatic Face Powder Case" (sold separately). (1) Remove the refill from the clear case and place it on the left side of the case. (2) Place the puff on the right side of the case. (3) After removing the transparent film, fold the perforation at the ▼ part up and place it on top of the refill, then insert it between the case and the lid to secure it in place. To remove the refill from the case, press the hole at the bottom of the case with a coin or similar object to remove it.

I was surprised that the reviews weren't as high as I thought they would be! However, many of the highly rated reviews are from people who have purchased it multiple times, and I'm probably one of them lol. I use it for touch-ups. Compared to other powders, it doesn't cling to pores as easily! When I apply it with a puff with long bristles, it blurs the skin and instantly eliminates oily feeling. Maquillage's primer and liquid foundation both made my skin red and itchy, so they didn't suit me. I think the ethanol might be the cause. I was wary of Shiseido's powders because they contain a lot of ethanol, but this was a pleasant surprise. The thinness of the case is the best, needless to say. The mirror is large and convenient.
Maybe it's because I have pale skin, but foundation doesn't suit me... But I need to cover it up a bit, otherwise I look like I'm not wearing any makeup... I was looking for something that doesn't cover up as much as foundation, but still provides a certain amount of coverage and keeps it from coming off, and after reading these reviews, I bought this. It turned out great!!! As others have said, it's somewhere between a foundation and a powder. It feels similar to Albion's powder foundation, which I've used as a sample before. (This feels lighter when purchased as a foundation.) It has a fine powder texture! I usually apply it lightly with a brush over Anessa Day Serum UV. When applied lightly, it creates a unique texture and covers redness to a certain extent, which I love! It does get a little shiny by midday, but blotting it with a tissue will generally restore it to its original state. It does come off a little. Be careful, though: if you apply too much, it can become uneven and messy (though this may be true with any powder...). Also, I only use the included puff for touch-ups.
I bought this to carry around for touch-ups. It has a subtle color, so for quick touch-ups, DayRevo and this are enough (as long as you don't mind blemishes). I don't think it pairs well with liquid foundation. It breaks down especially badly when I'm wearing a mask. I usually use Dramatic Powder, but if I use this as a primer, then Dramatic Powder, the finish is even better. It's great for touch-ups and as a base. I even bought the case, but I don't think I'll be buying it again for now.
Now in my 30s, I switched from the Cezanne powder I had been using to this one. It's compact and easy to carry around.
I was recommended this product by a Shiseido beauty consultant and have been using it twice now. Parts of my cheeks tend to become thinner and less even, perhaps due to rubbing from masks or age. When I touch up my makeup in the daytime, I gently apply a thick layer of this product to reduce the irritation caused by the mask. What's even better is that it's moisturizing and eliminates dryness. To maintain its moisturizing effect, I also use Elixir's Tsuyadama Mist. However, since I layer it on top of my already-uneven skin, it doesn't look as pretty.
