When you first start using it, smooth the tip of the pencil on the back of your hand to make it easier to apply. Pull out about 2mm of the pencil tip and draw a line around the edge of your eye, filling in the gap between your eyelashes. Blend the line you have drawn with the tip naturally. Turn the holder until you hear a clicking sound and the pencil no longer comes out, and you're done.
