I'd been interested in this for a while, but I kept putting it off because I had other things I wanted to try, but I finally gave it a try. I wish I had tried it sooner! I was a little hesitant to try it because I have dry skin, but I was worried about my skin's turnover not working properly and leaving behind dead skin cells. Even with toners that are applied with a cotton pad, the cotton pad tends to get dirty easily, but this removes dullness in a completely different way than regular toners! It also tightens pores and refines skin texture. I didn't feel any dryness, which I was worried about. This year, we've had a heatwave that lasted from the rainy season through to the end of the year, so it was refreshing and didn't dry out my skin, which was all good. The toner I use after this soaks in very well, so it may be a good value for the money. For me, it's better than a primer serum. However, it does irritate, so if you're concerned, you might want to try a sample first. I've never had any skin irritation from Kiehl's products, so I bought the full product from the start.
