What it is
Formulated with hematin, keratin, collagen, and lipidure to moisturize damaged hair. Based on a betaine-type amphoteric, it uses cleansing ingredients made from marine collagen and other ingredients. It gently cleanses hair while providing moisture. It repairs various damages and restores supple strength. How to use
Condition your hair by rinsing with hot water, then lathering with foam, then rinsing with hot water. The condition of your hair and scalp can change depending on how you wash your hair. [Step 1] Thoroughly remove sebum and dust from your hair and scalp with hot water. [Step 2] Massage your scalp with the foam, moving it slowly vertically, horizontally, and diagonally. This massage improves blood circulation and loosens stiff scalp. [Step 3] Rinse again with hot water while massaging. Thorough rinsing will also increase the effectiveness of the next treatment you use.

Do you offer express shipping?
Yes. As of 22 July 2026, we offer International Express Mail through Japan Post. The cost is based on order weight and is calculated automatically at checkout.
Will I pay customs or import fees?
US orders: No. As of July 1, 2026, all US orders ship DDP (duties delivered prepaid), meaning we prepay all import duties on our end. Nothing is due at your door.
Orders outside the US: Possibly. Duties and import taxes are set by your local customs authority and are not collected at checkout, so any charges on delivery are your responsibility.

The shampoo has a thick brown color when poured into your hands, and when lathered, it quickly produces a yellowish lather. It lathers very well, and even though I have a lot of hair and it's waist-length, I use less than I expected. Following the instructions, I shampoo by massaging the shampoo into my scalp for about three minutes. The thick lather doesn't go flat, and my hair doesn't tangle. It rinses out smoothly. Even after rinsing, my hair isn't rough, and the scalp is thoroughly cleansed of sebum, leaving a nice finish. Treatments from the same brand go well with this shampoo, and even completely different ones work well together. Because the scent is quite strong, I often use treatments from other brands with more subtle fragrances. I was wondering what birch scents were like, and I seem to remember a massage salon in a slightly better location that had a similar scent. It's not a typical scent, but rather a carefully crafted, luxurious one.
My hair ends get tangled due to damage from coloring and perms. I read reviews and the official website, so I bought a small size to try it out. It doesn't lather very well, so I use a little more than I would normally. After rinsing, my hair feels smooth even with just the shampoo. It's not a dramatic change, but it does feel a little calmer. Before lathering, the scent is like a woody perfume, which might be a matter of personal taste, but after rinsing, it has a very soothing scent like a classic soap. I can still smell it faintly the next day. I can't tell if it's birch, as I've never smelled the real thing.
I think it's the birch scent, but I previously tried a sample and liked the scent and feel, so I bought the mini size. There were many other types, so I bought all the mini sizes that were available. The mini size makes it easy to take with you when traveling.
Some people say it smells like incense, but it pairs well with my favorite perfumes, so I've been using it since it was first released. Because it's specifically designed for care and has a weak cleansing power, I adjust the cleansing power by using or mixing a mild-scented pre-shampoo first. P.S.: I think the scent of the ones I've recently purchased has gotten weaker.
