Apply a generous amount to wet hair, massage into a creamy lather, then rinse. Follow with Herbal Essences Bio Renew Conditioner.

I've been using this product for the past four years. I love the scent and how smooth it leaves my skin feeling after washing.
I was looking for an oil shampoo and found this one. The texture is white and creamy, and it lathers well. The scent is sweet and exotic, reminiscent of vanilla and coconut. It's a great value for the price. My hair feels clean and fresh after washing, and so far I haven't had any itchiness, so I'm happy with it. I recommend it for those with oily scalps who want smooth, silky hair.
I decided to try out various vanilla-scented shampoos and conditioners, and this was the first one I purchased. The scent was sweet, but more coconut than vanilla. In fact, I didn't really notice the vanilla. It was strong enough that the scent lingered the next day. Apparently, I could smell it a little when I got close, and a coworker commented the next morning that it had a distinctive smell, but that was the only time they'd said anything. The shampoo lathers well. It left my hair feeling smooth and silky, without any dryness or stiffness. I'm not sure exactly what type of hair I have (not curly, but gets greasy if left unwashed), so I can't say for sure which type it will suit, but for reference, I'll list the products I've used so far and whether they worked for me or not. Products that worked well: Merit, Kota Eye Care (3 and 5), Bio Renew (the product reviewed), Eco Store. Products that didn't work: Lux (I was in elementary school, so my memory is a bit hazy, but it made my hair feel squeaky), Botanist (it made my hair feel squeaky).
I saw this at the supermarket and decided to buy it. It was my first time. As everyone says, it's probably not a common product. The scent is amazing! A slightly spicy, heavy vanilla. I recommend it for tropical lovers. Brewing some chai tea after a bath makes me feel like I'm in a tropical resort. My hair was so smooth and manageable after blow-drying. I think it has decent cleansing power. It also left my scalp feeling refreshed. It's not heavy or sticky, so it's easy to use even on hot days. The scent is still there the next morning. It has a pretty strong scent. It seems like it would be great for fall and winter! Some people might find it a bit heavy in the summer. The conditioner doesn't seem to have any internal conditioning (it doesn't), but it does make my hair smooth. The shampoo alone makes my hair feel a bit rough, so it's probably better to use both. It's given me a moment of daily relaxation. I highly recommend it to tropical resort lovers!!! I plan to buy it again this fall and winter.
Taking a break from trying out the shampoo... I have an existing treatment for a while, and since I can't find a shampoo sample, I bought it based solely on reviews. It's a thick, white shampoo with a sweet coconut scent. It lathers well and rinses off easily, but my hair feels rough after rinsing, so I want to quickly apply the treatment. (; I think other members have mentioned this before, but since it's not a pump, it's difficult to hold the container and get the shampoo out if there's foam on your hands, so it's frustrating. I'd like to find a pump that fits. (;)
