CLARINS Waterproof Eye Pencil (03 Blue Orchid)

I loved the green of Dior's limited-edition, discontinued eyeliner, but this year, all I could find was khaki, teal, and moss green. I finally found the perfect green, but it's not waterproof at all for me, who suffers from dry, watery eyes... Even if I thoroughly remove oil and moisture before applying, apply powder on top, or fix my eyelids, I still have panda eyes 30 minutes after going out... When I wipe off the powder, it crumbles into clumps and looks messy, and my eyes get bloodshot... It's soft and easy to apply, and I like all the other colors, so I was hoping to get all of them if they suited me! But it seems like it just doesn't suit me, which is very disappointing. I've never had such a bad experience with retractable eyeliners before, like Chanel Stylo Yeux, Dior Show, Shu Uemura, or Whoo Mee, so I wonder if there was something in it that didn't suit me...

I don't usually wear eyeliner all over my eyes, but I enjoy adding a little on the outer corners of my eyes! I love the grayish color because it gives a very mature and cool impression! I use it when I want to change up my usual makeup look.

I searched for something easier to apply, and tried Shiseido's Kajal and Microliner, but I ended up coming back to this one because it doesn't swell my eyelids even when applied to the mucous membrane. I think I'll probably keep using Fig. In my previous post, it was super easy to apply and the color I was looking for, but it smudged a little and looked like it had a lump on it, so when I applied it to my lower eyelid, it was the perfect color, so I'll try to use it in some way.

04 Fig. A deep purple. It's not too harsh and is very beautiful. I have double eyelids and slightly puffy eyelids, so I prefer a more defined line than other companies' popular light gray or brown eyeliners, which tend to blur the lines.

I originally used Ambi (brown) and Cya○make pencils. However, the tip would itch, and I could barely draw a light line on the outer corner of my eye. Liquid eyeliners were too bold and didn't feel right, so I was a complete eyeliner shy person. This one has a very soft tip that doesn't irritate. I was surprised that I could draw a line on the inner corner of my eye without straining my eyelid. I used 04 Fig, which isn't as strong as black but still has a nice presence. I'm also grateful that it's waterproof. While it doesn't completely smudge, it smudges relatively cleanly, leaving only a purple tint on my lower eyelid. It looks like eyeshadow and is easy to touch up. The downside is that the tip isn't very thin. It has a built-in sharpener, so I occasionally sharpen it, but it quickly becomes thicker. It produces a lot of shavings, so I feel like I'm wasting it, and I can't sharpen it very often... I'm trying to practice drawing as thin as possible without sharpening it.
