I'd previously used the orange flower-scented shampoo, and I'd always been curious about this blue bottle shampoo, so I finally managed to get hold of the 40ml mini size and give it a try. Since it's an organic product, I expect its cleansing power to be gentle, but since it's a damage repair and shine shampoo, I imagine it contains a lot of coating ingredients. I was more interested in the blue jasmine scent than the feel of the shampoo. The moment I opened the package, I was greeted with a sweet, fruity (grape-like) scent with a jasmine base, which left a very pleasant impression. My expectations were high, but when I actually used it, I was surprised by the herbal scent, reminiscent of ginger and Houttuynia cordata, which was completely different from my initial impression. The shampoo itself felt fine, but the conditioner didn't quite suit my hair. It had a strong waxy feel, leaving my hair feeling smooth and squishy, and I felt like it left a waxy texture on my hands. After drying, my hair felt sticky, so I ended up washing it again with a different shampoo. Regarding the scent: Shampoo > When I took it out of my hand, it didn't have the fruity scent that it had in the packaging, but rather a laundry soap-like, herbal scent with a hint of the sweet scent of jasmine. (Huh?) The scent was so faint I thought, "What?" Conditioner > The treatment had a more pronounced sweet scent, but it also had a herbal, herbal scent, and when combined with the shampoo, it felt like the herbal scent was even stronger than the sweet fruity scent.
I like the scent. The other scents in this range suit my hair well and make it thicker and healthier, but this one doesn't seem to give it as much bounce.
I love all of the treatments here because they give my hair a glossy finish. I don't really like the sweet scents that many of them have, but this one has a refreshing, natural scent that I really like. I dye my gray hair once a month, so it's prone to damage, but I'm happy that this treatment gives it a glossy finish.
