I have combination skin that's prone to acne. Oily skin can easily lead to acne. I switched to Kiehl's skincare, so I bought the cream. It's called a water cream, and as the name suggests, it's refreshingly moisturizing and has a different texture than a gel. It's a strange feeling. It spreads easily and absorbs quickly into my skin. It's not sticky, and I didn't wake up feeling dry. It didn't sting my acne, and it didn't make it worse. I didn't experience any dryness when I used it before makeup, so I plan to keep using it for a while.
I used up the 7ml that came in the advent calendar. It has a bouncy texture and looks like it would be great for spring and summer. I was able to use it without any acne getting worse. It's easy to use and has a lovely herbal scent. I'd like to buy it again.
I used the mini size included in the Kiehl's Advent Calendar 2023. This is my favorite Kiehl's cream, both in terms of scent and texture. Its texture is more like a gel than a cream, and it blends in easily. It feels like an all-in-one gel, but it's a cream, so you'll need to moisturize with a lotion or serum before using it. However, as someone who doesn't like heavy creams, this is a great product and I think it might be worth repurchasing.
◎Comfort: It has a nice herbal scent. It has a relatively watery texture among creams and spreads easily. After use, it becomes oily for a while. For my skin type, it's too oily and makeup doesn't stick well even after wiping it off with tissue, so I think I'll only use it at night. ◎Good points: I liked the scent and how well it spreads.
From the advent calendar. A lightly cooling cream. Water cream is a great name. It did sting just a little, for just a moment. But I'm the type of person who thinks it works! I wonder how it would be in winter because it's so light. I don't use it at night, I layer it on top (lol) and only use it in the morning. I wonder if it would be good in summer?
