What it is
Oshima Pure Mihara Camellia Oil is extracted from the fruit of the wild camellia, a plant beloved in Japan since the Heian period as a protective oil for women's black hair. Approximately 86% of camellia oil is oleic acid, a fatty acid that is resistant to oxidation. The beauty and health benefits of camellia oil: Smoothing skin and hair: Its oleic acid content, more than 85%, is more than olive oil, and is easily absorbed by human skin. Its non-drying and highly moisturizing properties ensure long-lasting moisture when applied to skin and hair. UV-B Protection: Camellia oil also acts as a natural sunscreen, blocking the penetration of ultraviolet (UV-B) rays. It is also rich in vitamin E. Saponin Antibacterial: It contains the antibacterial ingredient saponin, which helps keep skin and scalp clean. In ancient times, it was also used to repel mites and lice. Coating the hair cuticle: Applying it to hair prevents cuticle peeling and simultaneously prevents moisture loss from within the hair. Additionally, massaging your scalp with camellia oil will help restore balance to your scalp. For those concerned about dry skin or after sun exposure: □ After bathing, washing your face, or applying your toner, massage into your face and body. This will enhance the skin's moisturizing effects. □ As an oil pack, after washing your face in the bath, spread camellia oil on your face and let it steam naturally with the steam. □ It can also be used on your hands and feet as a substitute for hand cream. It is also safe to use as a baby oil for children. For those concerned about hair damage or who have colored their hair: □ After bathing, massage an appropriate amount into your scalp and work it into your entire hair. For those with dry, frizzy hair, be sure to work it into the ends in particular. Also, when blow-drying, slightly wet your hair and work the camellia oil into it. Protect your hair for beautiful results.
