BOBBI BROWN No Smudge Mascara 01 (Black), 5.5ml

I bought this because it had a reputation for not smudging, priced at $25 in North America. I've tried several smudging-proof mascaras and been disappointed by them all (YSL, Lancôme, Benefit, Dior, etc.). I was skeptical that this one would disappoint, but this one is excellent!!! It really doesn't smudging! If I were to rate it based on that alone, I'd give it a perfect score. However, the volume and curl are lacking, so I'll give it five stars. On the other hand, I recommend it for people who like natural makeup. My lashes are thick and long, but they're sparsely spaced rather than densely packed, which is a bit lacking for me, as I crave volume. I like the fact that it doesn't create an artificial length, but it's a shame that the curl I created with an eyelash curler ends up drooping (;;). When I'm rushing to work, the quick drying and smudging feel is appreciated. It's perfect for everyday use, but not for creating a striking eye look. It's a simple yet excellent product, and I'll keep it on hand.
