What it is
A large sponge that can be used with any type of foundation. Contains hyaluronic acid, which gives a moist and soft feel on the skin, allowing you to apply a thin and even foundation quickly and easily.

How to use
Use the wide side for large areas such as cheeks and forehead, and the pointed part for small areas such as the wings of the nose. If using wet, soak the sponge in water and wring it out before use. After use, be sure to drain the water thoroughly.

Do you offer express shipping?
Yes. As of 22 July 2026, we offer International Express Mail through Japan Post. The cost is based on order weight and is calculated automatically at checkout.
Will I pay customs or import fees?
US orders: No. As of July 1, 2026, all US orders ship DDP (duties delivered prepaid), meaning we prepay all import duties on our end. Nothing is due at your door.
Orders outside the US: Possibly. Duties and import taxes are set by your local customs authority and are not collected at checkout, so any charges on delivery are your responsibility.

I received this when I purchased a Kose product at the store. I use it to replace the sponge that comes with the powder foundation. It's thick, elastic, and large, making it particularly easy to apply to large areas. It comes with a card-sized case, so it might be good to keep in your pouch for touch-ups, but I don't like the look of the white case, so I don't think I'd want to carry it around in it. I'd rather keep it in a clear plastic case.
I use it to fix smudges in my foundation when I touch up my makeup. It's thick and elastic, so I can fix it effortlessly. It's a little big to carry around, but it's worth it for the elasticity. It really suits my purpose.
The sponge is quite thick, and when I use it for liquid foundation, it doesn't absorb too much, and it doesn't crease or clump, so I like using it.
I bought this to use with liquid foundation. I was debating whether to use another type or not, but decided on this one that was recommended. It applies beautifully. I wonder if it applies thinly? The sponge is thick, so it feels soft and fluffy. I used the thin, oval-shaped end to apply it all over my face. It also applied beautifully to the sides of my nose and above my eyes. The only downside is that the sponge absorbs most of the liquid (T_T). It's good for finishing off application after applying with your hands, but I don't recommend using a sponge from the start. Maybe I'm just cheap, but I feel like I'm wasting a lot...
It's fluffy and comfortable. I bought it because it was cheaper than Shiseido, but it feels better on the skin. However, I feel like the liquid foundation gets absorbed by the sponge more than with Shiseido.
