What it is
This foundation brush is soft to the touch yet firm enough. The cut surface is flat and slightly angled, allowing you to apply foundation evenly and without streaks over a moderate area.

How to use
(1) Take an appropriate amount of foundation on the back of your hand or elsewhere and apply it evenly to the brush. (2) Spread it over the wide areas of your cheeks in several steps. Working from the inside to the outside, smooth the brush while making sure the cut side of the brush is perpendicular to your skin. (3) On your forehead, apply a thin layer of foundation from the inside to the outside. (4) Do the same for your nose, mouth, and upper eyelids. (5) For areas you want to cover, apply additional foundation by tapping the brush perpendicularly. (6) Remove the foundation from the brush with a tissue or similar and blend it along your face line.

Do you offer express shipping?
Yes. As of 22 July 2026, we offer International Express Mail through Japan Post. The cost is based on order weight and is calculated automatically at checkout.
Will I pay customs or import fees?
US orders: No. As of July 1, 2026, all US orders ship DDP (duties delivered prepaid), meaning we prepay all import duties on our end. Nothing is due at your door.
Orders outside the US: Possibly. Duties and import taxes are set by your local customs authority and are not collected at checkout, so any charges on delivery are your responsibility.

I was worried that applying foundation or primer with my hands would result in uneven application and dirty hands, so I decided to try using a brush. I looked at a few different products in the store and ended up buying this Lunasol product, which seemed to be dense yet soft. I usually get by with a high-coverage primer, so it's important that the primer is applied neatly. By using this product, I can apply it quickly, neatly, and maintain a glossy finish. When applying it to my face with my fingers, I apply a small amount in some places, and then I just spread it with this brush without applying too much pressure, and the finish is so much better than when I used my fingers!
It's soft, so it applies foundation evenly without irritating the skin. I now understand the importance of makeup tools.
I bought this brush for liquid foundation. I think it's one of the cheaper brushes among the more well-known brands. The bristles are soft and the handle is just the right length. The bristles are white, so I think the foundation color will remain even after washing.
