Do you offer express shipping?
Yes. As of 22 July 2026, we offer International Express Mail through Japan Post. The cost is based on order weight and is calculated automatically at checkout.
Will I pay customs or import fees?
US orders: No. As of July 1, 2026, all US orders ship DDP (duties delivered prepaid), meaning we prepay all import duties on our end. Nothing is due at your door.
Orders outside the US: Possibly. Duties and import taxes are set by your local customs authority and are not collected at checkout, so any charges on delivery are your responsibility.

I've been using the shu uemura pentagonal sponge for years, as it creates an even finish for both primer and liquid foundation. When I use this sponge, the way my primer adheres is completely different. I always thought sponges were all pretty much the same, so I recommend giving this one a try if you're unsure which one to choose.

It does absorb a little too much foundation, but since it's made in Japan, I feel safe using it on my skin and am very satisfied!
I first purchased it two years ago to go from 3 to 5 stars, and at first I thought it was just average, but I gradually got used to it and tried using it in different ways, and I found it very easy to use, so I've now repurchased it many times. It's convenient for setting my face after applying primer and foundation, or when using a mist. Other manufacturers also produce sponges, but this one is made of natural rubber, is easy to use, lasts a long time, and I can use the brand points, so I plan to continue using this one for a while.
