We're working on rolling out prepaid duties for more countries soon.
Each cotton pad is quite large, so you can thoroughly soak it in lotion with just one. It's smooth and lint-free, so I mainly use it to remove eye makeup. It also removes nail polish easily. Personally, I think cotton pads that are about half the size would be easier to use... Now that you mention it, I agree that it's a great cotton pad, but perhaps that's to be expected considering how expensive it is. But anyway, if you're looking for cotton pads that don't get all lint-free, this is the one I recommend.
The ones I usually use are cotton ones that cost around 200-300 yen, so compared to those, this one was gentler on the skin and more comfortable to use.
One of the causes of oily skin is lack of moisture. So I was looking for a high-quality cotton pad that I could soak in a generous amount of lotion and that wouldn't pill due to rough skin. This place had good reviews, and I thought Shu was the best tool, so I bought it. This was the right choice! It doesn't pill much when wiping off Exfoliant or patting on lotion! It feels great on the skin! It's big, so I cut it in half because I'm a cheapskate, but it's still enough!
I've tried a lot of different cotton pads, but I've recently settled on Shu. First of all, the size. It's just the right size to hold between your fingers. Once you get used to this size, smaller ones are really hard to use! It's also great that it doesn't pill easily. It's fine for a little patting. If you do it too much, the surface will start to slip off. Above all, it's very comfortable because no fibers remain on your face. Is the regular price 500 yen? I can get it for 300 yen at some places, so I buy about three boxes at a time (it does add to the luggage).
For lotion, I went from Shiseido to Orlane for a while, but I've now settled on this one. What I like most about it is that it doesn't pill much. It's also large, so the cotton pad stays in place even when I'm patting it on. When my skin is dry, I tear it into 3-4 thin pieces to use as a lotion pack. It's easy to peel off (?), so it's easier for me to use than a face-shaped sheet mask. I have to take the train from where I live now to buy it, so that's a bit inconvenient. It's bulky and a necessity, so I wish I could buy it online.
