What it is
This double-sided cotton pad is a luxurious combination of 100% natural silk and 100% natural cotton, developed specifically for TSUYA Lotion. The fine texture of the natural silk massages and polishes the surface of the skin. It feels smooth to use, and the moisture and softness of the lotion spreads to every corner of the skin. 1. Apply plenty of lotion to the cotton side until it penetrates the silk side. 2. Gently polish the entire face with the silk side. the uneven ecru side. as if wiping off unnecessary dead skin cells. 3. Use the cotton side. the soft white side. to gently pat the skin until the skin temperature drops and the skin feels firm.

Will I pay customs or import fees?
US orders: No. As of July 1, 2026, all US orders ship DDP (duties delivered prepaid), meaning we prepay all import duties on our end. Nothing is due at your door.
Orders outside the US: Possibly. Duties and import taxes are set by your local customs authority and are not collected at checkout, so any charges on delivery are your responsibility.

I bought this because I was attracted to the natural silk. Although it's small, I didn't find it difficult to use. I soak the cotton pad in lotion, but it does use up quite a bit of lotion. The lotion I used was KANEBO's Skin Refiner. Even if I wash my face thoroughly, wiping it in a circular motion with the silk pad removes brown dirt. However, the silk pad feels hard against the skin, and I don't think it removes too much dead skin, so I can't use it often. The cotton pad didn't fray much even when I patted it. It was smaller than I expected. I thought the silk side would be good for using a wipe-off lotion. You have to be careful because the silk side repels moisture unless you apply it to the cotton side.
I like that both sides are cotton and silk. I used the cotton side for wipes and the silk side for lotions. It's small but easy to use. However, it's a little pricey for the size and amount, so I'll consider buying it again if I think about the cost-effectiveness.
I bought it to balance my spending, since I could have gotten a novelty pouch for a few hundred yen more. I couldn't use it for skin care, but it was great for removing nail polish. I soaked the silk side in nail polish remover and wiped it off, and it came off easily in one go. It's expensive, but I might buy it again if I have the chance. (Sorry, this isn't the official way to use it!)
