I'm giving it 4 stars, but I plan to change that later. (Because I don't use it often) I forgot to review this one. It wasn't ranked among powder eyebrow products. I'd used the #1 Kate palette a few times, but the color payoff wasn't great, so a beauty advisor recommended it as my next purchase. Also, this eyebrow palette apparently can also be used to create under-eye bags, so I thought it might kill two birds with one stone (lol). The method she taught me was: If you don't like your current brows (because it's permanent makeup, lol), first erase them with MAC concealer, then apply MAC powder foundation (to remove oil and make it easier to apply), and then use an eyebrow pencil for the tail of your brows. (MAC) The light beige shade at the top of this palette is used as a highlighter by hand under the tail of your brows. The slightly brown shade in the middle is applied to the beginning of your brows with the rounded brush provided. The dark brown shade at the bottom is applied to the tail of your brows with the diagonally cut brush provided. Finally, use eyebrow gel (from MAC) to blend your brows. It's like making the hairs stand up. I remember writing about how to create under-eye bags somewhere, but I'll add it if I can find the paper. I think it was like drawing a line with the middle color. Unlike Kate, the color is vibrant. Comes with a mirror. Made in Italy.
Ringering is an easy-to-use color. I had intended to continue using the pencil type, but the renewed product had a capacity that didn't last even a month, so I switched to the Elegance type. This time, I tried the powder type for the first time. The color is well-applied and the colors blend in well. I would like to continue purchasing it, but I'm not sure I'll be able to use up all three colors.
I used up the Jill Stuart eyebrow palette I had been using, so I replaced it with this one. I'm glad I bought it because I can complete my eyebrows with just one palette. I dye my hair a dark brown, and I think the color is particularly flattering and works well.
M.A.C.'s #GreatBrow #EyebrowPowder comes in three shades, with a large mirror and two brushes! The powder has fine particles and adheres well. Taupe is a cool-toned shade. The top shade is great for shading the inner brows and lining the edges. The second and middle shades are just the right shade for the entire brow, and I also use them for shading under my eyebrows. The third and bottom shades are perfect for the outer brows and areas where there isn't enough volume. This palette is easy to use and has just the right shade overall! #MAC #MAC #Eyebrow
I use No. 002 from this series from summer to autumn (because sun exposure can change my skin tone quite a bit), and in winter I buy the slightly lighter No. 001. When I don't want to wear heavy makeup, I just put it on top of the Natural Glass Makeup Moist Cream. I love it!
