How To Use
●When using for the first time, press the pump several times until the contents come out. ●After toning your skin with lotion, take one pump of the product into the palm of your hand and apply it to your entire face. (1) Hold the bottom of the empty container and turn the pump to remove it. (2) Remove the cap for the new replacement, insert the pump and tighten it firmly.

The lotion from the same line is as thick as a milky lotion, so I don't really notice much difference. It penetrates well without feeling sticky, so it's perfect for morning skincare. However, I feel like it's a little lacking in moisturizing power.
I received a sample of the moisturizing type, 1.5ml. Since autumn and winter are dry, I often use moisturizing or very moisturizing types. When I pour it into my palm, it feels like a regular lotion. The scent is faint and not too strong. It absorbs quickly into my skin. I thought it might be too moisturizing, but once it's absorbed, it feels just the right amount of moisturizing. I'll use the entire sample and decide whether to purchase it.
In my skincare routine, I don't place much importance on emulsion. It's the final step in my morning skincare routine, and I use it before my evening cream. I used to love the Renergie line, but I decided that emulsion doesn't have to be Renergie, so I decided to switch. First, I tried the moisturizing Elixir, popular among my peers, but it wasn't quite enough. It didn't dry my skin out, but it still didn't feel quite right. So, I was thinking about switching to something a little more moisturizing. Then, while shopping at a Kanebo counter in a shopping center, I happened to receive a sample of this DEW product online (I hadn't even considered DEW at the time). I tried just the emulsion, and... this is it! It's actually more moisturizing and refreshing than the Renergie emulsion! What's more, like the Elixir, they also have a very moisturizing version, so if the harsh winter weather makes this one not enough, I can switch to that, so I can rest assured. I've now switched to this and have been using it for several winters, and I've never felt any discomfort or dryness, let alone any dryness, and I've continued using the moisturizing version.
It has a very thick texture, but it spreads smoothly. It feels like the texture of a lotion and a milky lotion is almost the same (though they are, of course, different). The scent is lovely and soothing. I use both the lotion and the whole lotion, and while I thought it might dry out my skin later on because it was so refreshing, I was pleased to find that by the time I'd finished using the whole bottle, my skin felt quite moisturized when I woke up in the morning.
Looking at the full ingredient list, several emollients are listed at the top, which can be intimidating, but when you actually use it, you'll find the light, hydrating texture. It's also less likely to convert into sebum, making it ideal for oily skin in the fall and winter. If you need more moisture, layering a thin layer of a white petrolatum-like cream on top seems like a good option. Alternatively, I recommend Sofina Beaute High Moisture Emulsion, Extra Moist, which has a similarly refreshing texture and offers even more intense moisturizing benefits. It adheres well to the skin and provides lasting moisture. The pump nozzle is also excellent, making it easy to apply the desired amount with the right amount of pressure. The scent has a very Showa-era vibe, a nostalgic herbal floral scent, but it evaporates quickly after application, so it's not intrusive.
