BANILA CO's cleansing balm is the most effective on pores, so I bought a milder version for winter. This one is slightly acidic. It has a refreshing, subtle mint-like scent. I thought the makeup removal was not much different from the standard pink version. (This may also be due to the fact that base makeup tends to be lighter in winter.) The feel isn't mild, but it has the cleansing power to remove makeup thoroughly. I've been repurchasing the standard version until now, but I think I might switch to this one from now on.

I preferred this one to the pink one. It's hypoallergenic, removes makeup just as it is, is frictionless, has a gentle scent, doesn't leave my skin tight after washing, leaves it moisturized, and is the best value for money. I keep buying it!
