I'm a cool-toned summer. My lips tend to dry out and peel easily, so I've never really liked matte lipsticks. But this season, I really wanted a matte look! I absolutely loved Vibrant, so I decided to give Rouge Star a try. It applied so smoothly, and the color and payoff were better than I expected! It was also moisturizing! The color seems to last well, as you'd expect for a matte lipstick. It's quite noticeable when my lips are peeling, but that's the same with other lipsticks. I moisturized thoroughly and scrubbed it well before applying, and it was fine. 105 is a mauve pink, and 106 is the winning color for cool-toned summer. As expected, it's a pink-beige shade, which is the color I wanted the most this season. It looks like it would be great for spring and summer people! It's so cute!! Kanebo Rouge Star was amazing! I'm looking forward to enjoying matte lipsticks in the spring.

It's not bad, but the Vibrant one was so good that it pales in comparison. If you're going for a matte finish, this might not be the one for you.

Shortly after it was released, I wanted to try a matte lipstick, so I had a touch-up and bought it. I've always avoided matte lipsticks because I really don't like the feeling of them sucking all the moisture out of your lips, but this one feels great. It leaves your lips feeling smooth, but without that crisp feeling, and the color is surprisingly sheer, so it colors your natural lips. The color is strong, but not too harsh, and it's a soft, dewy shade, so even people like me who don't usually try matte lipsticks wouldn't regret trying this one out.

I'm a warm spring type. I have Vibrant shades 1, 8, and 9. I've always had a bad impression of matte lipsticks, as they tend to dry out my lips and make vertical wrinkles more prominent. My lips tend to be naturally dry, so I was impressed when I used this shade with my eyeshadow when touching up. It brightens my complexion and gives a soft, non-shiny color. I tried wearing it for half a day, and it seems to last longer than Vibrant. It makes me want to try the other shades too.

Rouge Star Breeze EX02 Limited Edition I bought it because I loved the color! It's a pretty bluish pink, but not too dark, so I think it can give off both a cute and mature impression. I'm not a big fan of matte lipsticks because they tend to dry out over time, but this doesn't dry out when applied over a moisturizing base. It has a semi-matte finish, giving it a sophisticated and formal feel. I like how it flatters my skin tone. ^^ I'd like to try other colors as well.
