My impression was that it stung when I applied it, but for me it felt just right. I applied it before bed, and when I removed it in the morning, there was a red residue on my skin, but it went away quickly after washing it off. My under-eye area felt firmer, and my dark circles improved, so I felt it was a good product. The effect lasted for about two days, but given the price, it seems like it would be difficult to use for long-term use, so I plan to use it wisely the day before an important event.
