I only purchased the conditioner. I've been using Aujua, Milbon, and Scalp D shampoos, and Jill Stuart and Aujua conditioners, and I wanted to change my conditioner for the first time in a while, so I bought this. I have straight hair, and recently the ends of my hair have been getting tangled, but after trying Lux, I found it to be not too heavy, moisturizing, shiny, has a subtle, pleasant scent, and is easy to run my fingers through. I'm glad I bought it.

P.S. After continued use, I feel like my hair has become dry and a little rough. I looked into it and it seems to have a strong cleansing power. I'll stop using the shampoo and just use the conditioner... ////////Previous review: This is the best shampoo and conditioner I've ever used! My hair is soft and very prone to tangling, but this left it really smooth even without using a treatment. The smoothness and moisture lasted until the next night, and I've noticed a significant reduction in hair-related stress (tangles, dryness, etc.) compared to before. Previously: I had a lob with sparse ends. I bleached it twice. I've dyed it myself a few times (1-5 times). When it was blonde, I had 60 braided extensions, then I dyed it dark brown myself and used about 100 seal extensions. Both times, I had long hair that reached down to my chest. It's incredibly effective!!! I tried a certain jar-type hair mask, but it gave me horrible back acne, an itchy head, and was very stressful. With this, I don't get back acne, my head doesn't itch, and best of all, my dead hair is smooth like a toy doll's!!! It's moisturized!!! The braided extensions lasted a month or two (the foreign feeling of the braid was stressful, but my hair is still smooth enough to be worn). The seal extensions lasted three months. Towards the end of the seal extensions, they would get messy in seconds and I had to brush them all day, lol, but now I have long, natural hair down to my butt. I haven't had a haircut in about a year (embarrassing, lol). I haven't colored it in about a year or two. The hair below the shoulders is damaged from when it was dyed brown. The hair is hard, thick, and coarse. I am aware that the ends are badly damaged, but I am still rating it! This quality is unbeatable for the price!!!
