I use this before styling my 4-year-old child's hair. His hair is so smooth that even his braids come undone easily, so if I use this before styling his hair, it helps keep it together. The scent isn't too strong either.

It has a classy scent that doesn't smell cheap! I use it at night before using the hair dryer and in the morning after curling my hair. It's fine for my hair that's just below my shoulders, but if it's long, it might hurt too much.
