My skin lacked both oil and moisture, but since switching to this lotion, it has become somewhat more hydrated. Also, while it was a pain at first, applying both the lotion and emulsion with a cotton pad seems to penetrate the skin more effectively. The ER version is quite thick, so I plan to switch to the regular version in the summer.
