I use this all year round, along with the lotion from the same series. It doesn't feel like it's enough on its own during the dry seasons, but it does have just enough moisturizing power to be used as a pre-makeup skincare product without affecting your base makeup.

I've finished using all the samples of Spa et Mer Blanc Confort, so I'm updating my review! This series has a refreshing feel overall, which may feel a little lacking in the winter, but I think it's good for the summer when stickiness is a concern. I also recommend it for those who don't like the thick texture of creams. In the summer, I love the Overnight Clear Gel from this series. I've been holding off on purchasing it because I'm looking to start serious anti-aging care soon, but the scent of this series is just perfect, so I find myself wanting to use it every once in a while. Another reviewer described the scent as "like a Buddhist altar, like Jintan..." and I thought, "I know what you mean!" lol I love the smell of temples, and I also use Jintan...lol lol

I told the beauty advisor that I was struggling with redness and irritability, and she gave me a sample of this product, which I used in combination with the lotion. First of all, it has a strange smell, like pencil lead (lol), but it's not that strong. I felt that it had quite a refreshing moisturizing effect. It might be suitable for people with oily skin who are prone to acne. My skin tends to get rough from dryness, so something with a bit more moisturizing power would probably suit me better.

I started using this on January 11, 2026, when I mentioned to Suzykirei in Tokyo that I was experiencing whiteheads (comedones), acne scars, and chin acne, and they recommended it to me, so I bought it! It's easy to apply and doesn't feel sticky! I'll write about how it goes when I finish using the whole bottle!
