I'm switching from Muji's introductory serum. I tried it out and it's odorless, smooth, and easy to use. It's a large, cost-effective size, so it's a great help. It's quite light, so I apply a generous amount right after a bath or after washing my face, all the way down to my neck. There are times when I wonder if it's worth using it for a while, but when I was in a hurry and skipped the introductory serum and immediately applied lotion, it didn't blend in, so I really felt the effects. It can be used generously on areas of the body where dryness is a concern, so it's great for dry skin.

I'm not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing...! The first time I used it, I felt a tingling sensation around my eyes. After that, I started using Bepio Wash Gel, and my whole face started to feel tingly. I'm not sure if the tingling was due to the Bepio or this product. lol. I did a patch test on the inside of my wrist, and no redness or itchiness occurred. As of January 2026, RMK's Treatment Oil might be a better starter. I got a mini-pimple the day after switching from RMK to this... but I'm not sure if there's a connection. Maybe RMK is better, at least in the winter? The RMK oil might feel heavy when it gets hot in the summer, so maybe this product will shine then? (I bought it, so I hope it shines...) The reviews are good, and Kikumasamune is a well-respected brand, so I'll try using it again in the summer and see how it goes.

All the introductory beauty serums are expensive, but this one is cheap and comes in a large quantity, so you can use it without being stingy. The smell isn't bothersome and it was effective, so I'll definitely buy it again.

I like to use it immediately after bathing, so it's good as a booster without any irritation.

I started using it after being recommended by Chat GPT. I like how it's smooth, doesn't interfere with the lotion I use next, and how well it absorbs. This is my first bottle, but I feel like my pores are becoming less noticeable. It's great because it doesn't feel sticky even when I use it in the morning. I plan to buy a second bottle.
