Pressing it all the way down sprays a decent amount in one go. The fine mist keeps my makeup in place, which is nice. You can either let it dry or lightly blend it in with a sponge. It's the middle of winter, so I'm not sure how well it holds my makeup in place, but it does smooth out the dryness of my powder, which is nice. It even adds a little shine.
