There was a time when my skin was extremely dry and had redness around my neck that was worse than redness, but this product never irritates my skin and I can use it with confidence. I use it even when my skin is stable, and using it right after washing my face calms my skin and allows the lotion I use afterwards to penetrate better. Feel: It has a soft texture with no scent or irritation. It absorbs smoothly into my skin after cleansing and doesn't leave a sticky feeling. I think it's a serum that anyone can easily use. The subsequent lotion also absorbs very well. While the manufacturer recommends 2-3 pumps, I lavishly use 3-4 pumps. I layer more on areas that are prone to dryness. It probably wears off quickly, but this is so much better for my skin... Instructions: After using this, I follow up with Harbor's Deep Moisture Lotion (from the same line) (in spring and summer, I add G Lotion to the lotion on the left) and then squalane. I love how plump my skin feels when I wake up. Incidentally, the Deep Moisture Serum, Matsuyama Oil's Skin Moisturizing Series' Penetrating Water Balancing, and then the emulsion all worked pretty well.
