I bought this because it seemed convenient to carry around. I've been using a lot of orange and reddish colors around my eyes lately, so I went with an orange shade. However, when viewed alone, the blush looks pink, even if it's just a touch. It doesn't really look that great when I try it on in the morning, but it's convenient for applying powder on the go to restore faded blush, shading, and highlighting. It's good for adding a little extra color when you've already applied your base makeup. However, while the blush pigmentation is quite strong, the other powders don't really stand out, so I'm a little confused. Also, while the double-ended brush is nice, I find it a little awkward to use; the long bristles are used for both blush and shading, and the shorter bristles are used for highlighting and perfecting color. It might be a good idea to wipe it with a tissue after blush and before shading, and after highlighting and before perfecting color, but when I'm with other people, I don't want to spend so much time touching up my makeup. Personally, I prefer the shorter brush for blush and the longer brush for perfecting color. Although it feels like it's too long for my obi and too short for my sash, it's compact, comes with a brush, and is a very convenient item to have on hand. I like it because it restores a full makeup look after using it once. The powder is smooth and adheres well. I don't need much highlighting, so if the Perfecting Color had a larger capacity, I could use it as a face powder...I guess it's best to customize it in that regard. Also, I don't like the colors and textures mixing, so I clean the brush with a dry cleaner after each use.
