I love My Fancy's foundation and use it often, but when I found out they also have a concealer, I ordered it straight away. The concealers I own are usually stick or tip-type, but this is the first time I've seen one in a palette. I'm hoping to get the hang of it by gradually adjusting the color. As an aside, it was only after ordering this palette that I learned that Koh Gen Do does not test on animals. My opinion of their products has grown even more.
The texture is moist and soft, and it doesn't dry down or become flaky or rough. It's moist and hydrated, and doesn't smudge. It doesn't have the "I've covered it!" feel that typical concealers have, but rather leaves a natural, bare-skinned finish. You might be wondering, "Does it really have enough coverage?" As you might expect, the coverage is just average. However, it blends well with the skin and tones up the color you apply, so it actually covers up quite nicely. For stronger coverage, I recommend using it with a control color. The three colors are well-balanced, too. I use the orange for dark circles and other areas I want to cover more, and the lightest concealer underneath to help highlight. I use the natural color for small blemishes, nose, and other areas of concern, so there's no wasted color. It's a palette-style product, and the included mirror and pen are convenient. The pen feels great to apply. It's firm but flexible, and applies beautifully. The texture softens and goes on thick at body temperature, so applying it with the pen works better than applying it with your hands. I think I bought the brush about half the time, and it's so comfortable. The brush part breaks easily, but it's within acceptable limits! I've tried a lot of different things, but it's a good product even if it has some weaknesses, so I'm leaning towards repeat purchases for now.
I use KOSDECO concealer, and I bought this as a portable product for touch-ups. The coverage is decent. At first, I thought it didn't offer as much coverage as KOSDECO, but after applying it a few times, it actually offers quite a bit of coverage. It spreads well and conceals naturally, which is great. I don't use brushes because they're too thin and it's a pain to apply. It can be applied with one touch, but I always use my fingers because I want to shorten my makeup time, especially touch-ups, by even a second. This is a KOSDECO product from a few years ago, so it might have changed, but the smell isn't very pleasant. It smells like something an old lady would wear, but this one is almost odorless, which is nice.
