What it is
This serum was created by Tsuda Setsuko, a skin specialist with many years of experience in cosmetics development. By varying the amount and order of application of the two serums, TSUDA SETSUKO Skincare offers simple, all-purpose anti-aging care suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin. You can also adapt your application to changes in skin type due to weather or physical condition. The film-up treatment, formulated to resemble a film, creates a youthful appearance with firmness, radiance, and a refined texture. It also plumps and refines the skin around pores. Fragrance-free, colorant-free, and paraben-free. Skin plumping and elasticity care: High molecular weight polysaccharide complex (※1) seals in skin-beautifying ingredients for firm, plump skin. It also plumps and refines the skin around pores. Skin damage protection: The cell-connect effect repairs flaky skin. The high molecular weight polysaccharide complex also has excellent cell-to-cell adhesion properties, protecting the skin. Do you offer express shipping?
Yes. As of 22 July 2026, we offer International Express Mail through Japan Post. The cost is based on order weight and is calculated automatically at checkout.
Will I pay customs or import fees?
US orders: No. As of July 1, 2026, all US orders ship DDP (duties delivered prepaid), meaning we prepay all import duties on our end. Nothing is due at your door.
Orders outside the US: Possibly. Duties and import taxes are set by your local customs authority and are not collected at checkout, so any charges on delivery are your responsibility.

Of all TSUDA's serums, this is my favorite. It creates a film that protects the skin, giving me a sense of security. It's also moisturizing, so it's good for winter. If you use lotion, use this after. If you use cream, use it before. It can also be used as a primer, and you can adjust the amount to use it however you like. Vitamin C products can damage your skin if used continuously, so this serum doesn't have any whitening effects, but it does give you firmness, so you can use it with confidence.
I've been using Tsuda Cosmetics' 5C Barrier Serum, Repair Serum Lotion, and Skin Barrier Balm, and my skin is in great condition, so I also purchased this Film Up Treatment. I use it every night after the 5C Barrier Serum. I love how smooth my skin feels when I apply it. I plan to continue using it and observe any changes to my skin.
It has a smooth, light texture. For dry skin, I would prefer it to have a more gel-like feel, but it seems like it would be smooth and comfortable in the summer.
