What it is
This medicated lotion penetrates deep into the skin with three active ingredients: the whitening active ingredient, sustained-release vitamin C derivative (L-ascorbic acid 2-glucoside), the anti-inflammatory ingredient, dipotassium glycyrrhizinate, and the metabolic support ingredient, panthenol (D-pantothenyl alcohol). It also helps prevent acne and blemishes (*1) and pore problems (*2). Daily use leaves skin bright (*1). Citrus scent. Moisturizing formula. *1: Suppresses melanin production, preventing blemishes and freckles. *2: Moisturizes to reduce the appearance of pores. *This product is a refill, so the bottle is not included. US orders: No. As of July 1, 2026, all US orders ship DDP (duties delivered prepaid), meaning we prepay all import duties on our end. Nothing is due at your door.

As the product name suggests, it's very moisturizing and feels great to wear. I like the subtle citrus scent. If you apply the lotion as well, your skin will stay moisturized until morning. I'm not sure if it's effective on dark spots, but it's inexpensive and easy to use, so I've been using it for years.
Melano CC is the one!!! I had been interested in the renewed product, but I was thinking of buying it after I used up my other lotion. However, I felt like I needed some vitamins in the morning, so I couldn't resist and bought it! I absolutely love it!!! I heard that the approach has changed since the renewal, but the feel hasn't changed much since before. It's thicker than before. Maybe it's because it's a moisturizing type, but I do find it a little sticky. I love the scent! I love citrus fruits. When I get redness and itchiness on my chin, I just apply Melano CC and Obagi serum and it goes away!! I love Rohto Pharmaceutical!

I like the thick texture and citrus scent. However, when I use this product, a part of my eyelid becomes red and swollen, and the skin in the swollen area becomes dry and flaky. When I apply it, my skin stings and my neck gets itchy. I realized this was the cause after using it several times and the symptoms would come back, only to go away when I went back to my regular lotion. I think it's just that we don't get along.
