YSL's Slim Lipstick has been renewed and now comes in all new shades. Among them, I definitely want you to check out the brown shade "25 Nude Cassandra"!! Brown lipsticks are so stylish, but many are too reddish or too dark, making choosing one surprisingly difficult. This brown shade, No. 25, has depth and a perfect fall/winter vibe, but it's not too dark so it doesn't feel scary. It has a nice flush, but it's not too red, which is really great!! I love lipstick so I often go for touch-ups, and finding a shade this perfect is a miracle. And it's not just the color that's amazing...the texture is also outstanding!! It's sheer, so it doesn't look too intense on the first try. It applies quickly and flawlessly. It doesn't feel heavy even when layered, making for a soft, professional-looking application. It's packed with beauty ingredients and contains ceramides, so even though it's matte, it doesn't feel dry. Even though it's matte, it's not drying and doesn't cause vertical wrinkles on the lips (for me), and the light texture means it doesn't feel like you're wearing anything, which is great! The color lasts well, and it remains even after wiping it off with a tissue, so it's pretty good. Maybe it depends on how you eat and what you eat, but it almost completely faded after a meal. Because it's matte, the color payoff is great, and I like being able to adjust it by blending the edges of my lips with my finger. I like layering glosses. The color might have been better if it was a little darker? A little less saturated? A little more muted? I'm also interested in No. 28.
