Since 2025, my MAC craze has been on the rise. I was crazy about MAC in my 20s, and while the formulas have certainly evolved since I last used their products, every category is fantastic and it's my favorite brand these days. This time, I'm using foundation. Given my age, I've only ever chosen dewy foundations, but I was looking for this foundation for seasons other than summer. It covers everything with just a tiny amount (about half the amount I've used before), yet doesn't feel heavy. It gives the impression of someone with naturally beautiful skin! I can spend the day with it, and I love that it doesn't smudge or dry out over time. I'm hoping it will hold up well in the summer when combined with a primer, powder, or fixing mist!

It's very useful because it doesn't dry out the skin, spreads easily, and gives it a glossy look.

I bought the new shade N10. It's a nicely balanced shade of pink and yellow. It tones up my skin and makes it look beautiful. A small amount goes a long way and it sticks nicely to my skin. It also blends beautifully. It doesn't get stuck in my pores or leave a messy look. I chose this shade because I sometimes find foundation to be too yellow, but personally I think it would have been better if it was a little darker (maybe around NC10). It still doesn't look too white and cast on my skin. It has no sunscreen effect at all, so a primer or sunscreen is essential.

I'm concerned about the pores on my nose and cheeks, but when I apply it to fill them in, they become less noticeable and my skin looks smoother!! It also feels moisturizing when applied, which is great!
