Estée Lauder's new eyeshadow, The Essential Eyeshadow Quad, released on August 1st. Available in eight shades, each priced at ¥9,130 (tax included). I swatched this matte pale pink, glitter pink, and dark pink—all adorable shades—in the store, and decided to buy it within seconds! The color is called Happiest Hour! I've been curious about this pink ever since I saw it on Instagram, but it's even better in person (`ω´). I realized the darkest pink on the bottom right is a color I don't own. I tried applying it in a line, but it might also work well with a lighter, all-over application. You can see the tiny glitter in shade ④'s dark pink, but when you apply it to your eyelids, it's practically invisible. It's a matte dark pink. The accent glitter in shade ③ isn't too flashy, making it very elegant. The base and main colors in shades ① and ② are matte, but what really surprised me was the powder quality. It really does spread over my eyelids in a fluffy, almost fluffy way. The matte colors are the ones that I felt had the best powder quality. I'd love for you to try them out...of course, there's absolutely no powder fallout. The color lasts all day. I occasionally buy department store eyeshadows when I see something I like, but I think the powder quality is the best I've ever had. Especially the matte colors. Two brushes are included. The case is a little large, isn't it? I'm glad I bought this, it's my favorite eyeshadow recently! Be sure to check it out!
I bought PreNup. I used to use Estee Lauder's eyebrow and eyeliner (water-soluble). I loved the indescribable shade of black used as eyeliner, and nothing else could replace it. When a new eyeshadow was released, I thought maybe... and headed to the counter to try it. Yes, this is it... I was so happy I bought it. It's a smoky black, if you like. It's so beautiful, it almost makes me think I've become more beautiful.
I bought some muted eyeshadows for the fall and winter. The cute brick-colored base with brown accents makes this a palette that you can use without thinking. The powder doesn't flake off and the color payoff is good, so I think I'll be using it from now on.
I'm a cool-toned summer/winter skin tone, and this Happiest Hour shade is rare. I bought it on Suzykirei. It has great color payoff and leaves a sophisticated finish. However, there were sticky fingerprints on the compact itself, which was really gross...
