My lips peel easily, but I wanted a matte lipstick. I touched it up and was told, "It's less drying than a stick lipstick," and no, "It definitely won't dry out your lips," so I bought it. It certainly didn't dry out my lips right away, but the color changed from this to the color you get after eating spaghetti, leaving only the edges of my lips. Vertical wrinkles in the middle. Then, it started to dry out. I haven't used it for a while because I work in a job where I can't reapply for long periods of time, and recently, I tried it again after a long time. It feels oilier than before. Maybe my mucous membranes? My skin? is getting used to it? When I mentioned the spaghetti lipstick with the spaghetti lipstick border to a beauty advisor at another shop, she said, "Oh, that's typical of brown-based matte lipsticks." It does pigment for a while, so I think I'll try a pink one next time.
I like gloss, but sometimes I want a matte finish. It's definitely a soft matte that doesn't dry out! But it's not that impressive. I was hoping for a more reddish pink, but on my lips it turned out a little yellowish and beige. The staying power was average. It was just right for a change of mood.
The color is vibrant and beautiful to wear. I tried out a few different shades at the store, but I ended up buying 781 Almond Whip, which was the one that suited me best. I've also used a few of the Isetan exclusive shades in the past, and I love them all.
It's on the matte side, but not too matte, and has a soft, soufflé-like texture. It doesn't feel too dry. However, it does come off a little easily, which is a bit of a concern. I think Shu's Kinukea Glow Up has better color retention.
It's matte and the color is beautiful, so I think it's the one I use the most! It's easy to use! The color fades, but it doesn't feel like it's completely gone. I'm interested in the other products, so I'm considering buying them.
