I've never tried cream foundations because they seem like a pain, but this one was so popular! It was a bit of a pain to use the included spatula, scoop it up onto the back of your hand, and then apply it to your face. Sorry, I'm so lazy! But it feels great! I'll use it when I have time or when I'm out! I tried dotting my face and spreading it with my fingers, but it doesn't work for dry skin unless I've properly moisturized it first... If I don't have time and don't prep properly, my dry skin becomes more noticeable. So, if you moisturize well and use a moisturizing primer, it might be a good idea to apply a larger amount and then dab it with a sponge soaked in fixative spray to spread it evenly, which gives a nice finish. The shine is beautiful, and it didn't dry out my skin after application. It gives a natural finish, fits well, and doesn't easily come off!

I don't usually use foundation, but when I wore a kimono, I used the sachet that came with my purchase. It's not too thick, but it has good coverage and a neat finish. I'll consider buying the actual product.

I used it as a magazine supplement and liked it, so I bought the actual product. I was surprised that it was a cream foundation that was water-resistant, and it didn't smudge easily and lasted well. I think it would be easy to use in the summer too. A little goes a long way, so it's good value for money. I bought the color 201. I have fair skin, so I'd be happy if they sold colors lighter than 201.

For better or worse, the scent is quite strong. It may be relaxing for those who like this scent, but for daily use, I would prefer a milder scent or even an unscented product. As a foundation, it doesn't come off and is beautiful and excellent!
