I chose this natural hair milk because I liked the scent. My hairdresser recommended that a hair milk would work well for my hair (it's neither colored nor permed), but the scent of commercial products was terrible, even if they worked well. There are a lot of natural hair oils and very few hair milks. I preferred the other John Masters rose scent, but it seemed heavy for summer, so I chose this one. I'm glad I bought it. The scent is a natural floral that doesn't linger and disrupt sleep. It's not sticky or heavy, and doesn't leave a residue on your hands (non-natural products tend to leave a residue on your hands even after washing with soap). I'm happy I can use it after bathing and before blow-drying without any discomfort! It feels like it penetrates deep into my skin.
