I purchased 041. It's a clear, bluish pink with a subtle sparkle of silver as the main color. I'm very happy with how it turned out, a beautiful pink just as it looks. The sheer color makes it easy to adjust the intensity and it's hard to go wrong. Colors like this tend to be limited editions, but I'm grateful that Marikuwa keeps it a standard color that's always available. There are many other bluish colors, so I'd like to collect them all.
I've been buying Eye Opener for ages. I can choose as many colors as I want. While many eyeshadows are designed solely for ease of use and universal appeal, Eye Opener has always offered a variety of playful colors, all at a reasonable price, and is a rare single-color eyeshadow made in Japan. This time, I shopped online because of Suzykirei's Beauty Day, which offered 30% points back, but personally, I recommend trying them out in-store before purchasing—it's an eyeshadow that's so much more exciting. I'm amazed at how many base colors, main colors, and accent colors there are! Even though some colors may look the same, they have different nuances, so they don't always match perfectly, but this one always works perfectly. The glitter is gorgeous! The cherry blossom color is also cute. I bought 054 this time, which is a gorgeous pink glitter that glitter lovers will love. My eyelids look like jewels! The best. And the accent colors are just so cute. I normally never buy yellow-green eyeshadow or metallic gray-blue eyeshadow because I think they're just a waste of colors, but I always buy eye openers. Since you can change the color depending on the tool, I use the accent color as a color eyeliner.
I purchased Mary Quant's eyeshadow (Eye Opener) from Suzykirei. I wanted an eyeshadow with a shimmery finish that could be used as a base color, so I purchased 068 and 077. I felt that 077 was a little too dark to be used as a base color. 068 had a shimmery finish that I could apply just a little to the center of my eyelid or under my eyelids as a finishing touch, and it gave a beautiful finish. The wide variety of colors makes it fun to choose from and create all sorts of different combinations. It's very difficult to use without purchasing the case (sold separately) the first time, so a case is essential.
[084 Matte Shadow, Versatile] Purchased as a set with the Daisy Palette. I only had shiny shadows for personal use, so I was looking for a versatile shadow that could be used for both work and personal use, one that could create a cohesive look even with just one color. This was the perfect choice. It's a subdued ash pink, so it can be used not only as a shadow, but also for eyebrows and shading. It even lasts longer than the affordable eyebrow products I usually use. I like applying it thickly on my brows as an eyebrow makeup, and then spreading it thinly underneath to follow the shape of my eyelids, which naturally creates a more chiseled look. This one product is all you need when you go out. It's truly versatile.
The powder quality is neither extremely good nor bad, just average. The color is also average, but the color retention may be a little weak.
