I was using Melano CC makeup primer, but I was concerned about dryness in the winter, so I bought this product. It's less drying and I think it's perfect for this time of year. I don't feel it has much coverage, but I'm concerned about UV rays in the winter, so I'd like to continue using it.
I wanted something with sunscreen that I could use at home and that would wash off with face wash. I use it after my skincare routine because I have dry skin. It tones up and moisturizes immediately after application. I look my best at this point. Even if I use powder, my T-zone gets shiny over time, but maybe it's good that it doesn't dry out. It's also inexpensive. I like that it's fragrance-free and comes in a tube that's easy to dispense. Turning the cap is a bit of a pain. I haven't had any problems so far, so I think I'll buy it again when I run out.
Comparing this to the Minon Bright Up Base UV I already own, I think I prefer the Minon one. The color intensity of the primer is relatively light, and it feels more transparent when spread. You could also say it doesn't have much of a corrective effect. If you want a more natural, bare skin look, this is better. It does have a slight tone-up effect. As a primer, it doesn't last very long. By the evening, my skin looked much more natural. The Minon one doesn't show through dark circles or dullness, but if I just change to this primer, they become more noticeable in the evening, and in this respect I think the Minon one is the best. However, this primer comes off with soap, while the Minon one needs makeup remover to come off, so there may be a difference.
I use it as a sunscreen when I'm at home. It doesn't have great coverage or make my skin look beautiful, but it spreads well and is good value for money, so I'll continue to use it when I'm at home.
