The color was nice and it was easy to use and compact.
I absolutely love this! My eyes are set deep and I can't tolerate any buildup, so I can't use the dark colors in regular palettes. I rely on light browns that create a subtle shadow. It's a matter of personal preference, but this brown leans quite yellow, so I would have liked it if it had a slight blue undertone. The beige has a beautiful, fine pearl, and I think it's a product of Excel. You can use it anywhere, such as the center of your eyelid or under your eyes. I really like the shimmer, so I add just a little to highlight the tip and bridge of my nose. Lately, there have been a lot of shiny products, so it's hard to find a highlighter I like, but I really like the fact that this product creates a subtle shimmer.
I've always loved Excel's four-color palette, but the top two colors always run out first, so I was looking for something to complement them, and when I discovered this, I bought it. It's applied with a brush, so it's really just a subtle effect, but it complements them nicely. I think these two colors alone are perfectly fine for a light makeup look. It does contain pearl, but it's subtle and not too flashy, making it easy to wear on a daily basis.
I'm a cool-toned summer type. I can't stand makeup buildup. My skin tends to turn red. I bought this because I needed a safe brown eyeshadow without any glitter or blush. There are situations where you need to blend in with a group and wear makeup as a matter of etiquette... (^_^*). It's a very subtle color, with very little yellow and a hint of white, so it barely turns red or orange. It's a color that I could use even if brown doesn't suit me or I can't stand makeup buildup. However, perhaps due to my age, lack of care, and lack of skill, when I applied it to my face, the powdery texture was noticeable, giving me the opposite impression of a thick, beautiful look. Brown is just not my style... It was a bit irritating, so I decided to say goodbye. I think it would really suit someone who does. I'll continue my search for a safe shadow eyeshadow. I chose brown as a warm shadow, but it seems like I should give up on brown. I thought it would be okay since the color is so light and there is no reddish or yellowish tint, so I'm very disappointed.
It's very light, but it gives a sophisticated look. I've always used eyeshadows with good pigmentation, but this is what modern, sophisticated looks are like! The powder is moist and doesn't scatter the glitter. It gives a lovely, pale look to the eyes.
