I've used the facial cleanser and cream from this series before and they were pretty good, so I was looking for a pre-treatment serum, and that's when I found this on Suzykirei and bought it. I've been using it for about three weeks now, and I'm not sure what's so good about it. I haven't had any dryness or itchiness, though. It hasn't gotten worse either. The dropper is a bit hard to use...it's a bit hard, and it only sucks up a small amount at a time. I'll wait until I've finished the whole bottle before making a decision. The price is reasonable, so I'm not too disappointed.
I used to use a pre-treatment serum from a department store, but recently I've found some great, affordable cosmetics and am using them. I liked the ingredients in this pre-treatment serum, so I bought it right away. It has a subtle, barely noticeable alcoholic scent... It's a thick serum that absorbs easily into the skin. It's reasonably priced and I can use it generously, so I plan to keep using it.
I purchased this during Special Week in June. I've used the sake kasu mask from this series before and have been interested in it for a while. Finally... it seems I've developed a glycerin allergy, but so far... it doesn't itch... Could it be the glycerin??? Then, when I applied the lotion that made me itchy again, it still itched... I'm not sure, but for now I think it's the glycerin that's causing the itch... But this doesn't itch... what does that mean??? It feels moisturizing but refreshing. It's not sticky. Like the sake kasu mask, I liked it.
The thick texture melts smoothly into the skin, moisturizing it without any stickiness. The gentle fragrance, reminiscent of sake or amazake, is pleasant. It also contains 5% niacinamide, which I hope will also help with clarity. It's also very gentle on the skin, making it easy to use for a wide range of skin types, from sensitive to normal and dry. I think it's excellent value for the price.
