It hurts, but it doesn't irritate my skin and makes it plump, so it's good.
I'll compare it to the Dior and Visee plumpers I've used so far. (Sorry, the sample size is small.) The plumping power is impeccable. It plumps my lips more than any of the others and leaves them redder. It just hurts! It stings. The other two can't compare, lol, but I can tolerate it, so I'll use it. Since it's clear, maybe I'll apply it as a finishing touch?
I first bought a plumper after seeing it recommended by =LOVE's Otani Emiri. This is my second purchase. It said that a lighter version is best for first-time users, and although it did sting at first, it didn't bother me once I got used to it. It gives a lovely glossy finish, and now I can't complete my lip makeup without a plumper.
The gloss has a slightly viscous texture that adds volume to your lips the moment you apply it, and you can really feel the plumping effect. The color is beautiful, it's not as sticky as I expected, and it feels neither too heavy nor too light when applied.
