I have blue and reddish-brown bags under my eyes, which get worse or better depending on my physical condition, so it's taken me a while to cover them up with makeup. This brush is easy to use and allows me to pinpoint exactly where I want to hide them! For concealer, I use CHANEL's sheer liquid foundation followed by POLA's eye concealer in two shades, yellow and orange. I blend it to match the color of my dark circles and adjust the color depending on how I feel that day, applying it with a brush to the finer details of my dark circles and wrinkles. After that, I use Shiseido's round-tipped concealer brush to pat it into my skin. The color blends and stays on better than patting it in with my fingers, making it easy to cover up, so I recommend it! The Make Up For Ever brush has a long handle, is smooth, sturdy, and easy to use, so I'd love to try their other products.
I bought a Holiday brush set a few years ago and it was so easy to use and loved it, so I bought another one. I mainly use it to draw my eyebrows. The slightly soft, thin bristles make it easy to adjust the shade of color. I use it as an eyeliner brush, easily applying the darkest color to the edge of my eyelid, and it's also incredibly easy to apply a thin line at the outer corner of my eye like a stamp, so I use it quite often. Since it's Lunasol eyebrow powder, this brush can be used for both eyebrows and eyeliner. I have several eyebrow and eyeliner brushes, but this one has been my go-to these days. I think I remember seeing something in the official description that said this was meant to be used with concealer, but I recommend it for both eyebrows and the outer corners of your eyes.
I bought this after seeing a YouTube video on how to apply eyeliner to loosened eyes! I use it to apply MAC's Pro Longwear Fluidline Eyeliner and Brow Gel. This brush is, in a word, amazing!!!! When applying eyeliner to loosened eyes with age, pencil-type liquid eyeliner inevitably creates a shaky line, but this brush has delicate, consistent-length bristles that make it very easy to apply. And the finished product is also fantastic, with a crisp, clean line. So far, I can't find any negative points...full marks.
I started collecting Make Up For Ever brushes as spares for my Soyo brushes, and now I realize they're both excellent and useful. While both brushes share the same soft, voluminous, and firm synthetic bristles, Make Up For Ever brushes are lighter and easier to hold and use. The 172 brush is incredibly versatile, being perfect for eyebrows, applying cream eyeshadow, applying concealer to small areas, and applying lipstick. Megumi Kanzaki is a big fan of Make Up For Ever brushes, isn't she? Kaori Nagai also recommended Make Up For Ever brushes on her YouTube channel. I love Make Up For Ever brushes, too.
