b IDOL Loved Base SPF30

A moisturizing base that's hard to go wrong with! It's hard to go wrong when combined with foundation (NARS, ADDICTION, Dior, about tone liquid, etc.). It provides just the right amount of coverage and is good value for money.

I bought this and use it together with my beloved foundation. It's a primer with pearl that gives a lustrous finish. It's not specialized in coverage or color correction (it feels like it slightly brightens the tone), but it's easy to use and doesn't require a specific foundation. It has an SPF of 30, so it's perfect for this time of year. It spreads evenly and doesn't dry out easily. As I'm getting older, pearls tend to make pores more noticeable, so I often use it on days when my skin looks good or when I'm just going out for a quick makeup routine. (It's acceptable to use it on other days, though...) It would be even better if it was available without pearl.

2026/01/07 Update I haven't used it all up, but I'll add: Nowadays I only use it on my cheeks, or on my entire face when I wear a mask. However, if I apply it under my nose, the pearls look strangely shiny, so I avoid applying it under my nose. When I use it on my entire face in winter, it gets dry from morning to night, but it's fine for about 3 hours. Also, after using this, the foundation puff becomes shiny, which has been annoying lately, but it doesn't come off even after washing, so I keep the puff in place. However, turning it into a powder makes pores more visible, and turning it into a foundation covers them up, so in the end you have to rely on foundation. The shimmering pearls look beautiful in some areas, but they can also look shiny when you look closely, so it's not easy to use anytime. I was particularly bothered by the way the pearls shimmered under my nose, as there aren't many other products with pearls in them, so it might suit people who don't mind pores. I thought a different primer in the same price range would be fine, so I took a photo next to three primers I already have. The Aisare Base is whitish and contains pearls, so I think it has a unique feel, just for reference.

The color is pink-beige with a hint of pearl. It brightens the skin tone upon application, and it adheres well and spreads well. It doesn't clog pores and doesn't break down easily. I have combination skin, so my T-zone got a little shiny, but blotting it with a tissue made it look nice. I used it in the winter, but I think it would be more likely to get shiny in the summer. Incidentally, I purchased and used it together with the B-Idol Aisare Foundation. As expected, products from the same series go well together, and since the Aisare Foundation is a sheer serum type, even a slightly darker foundation seems to shine through and appear to glow from within. I used NARS Lif Powder, but I noticed some cracking and dryness around my mouth. It's a 25g product, but it spreads well, and considering it's only 2,000 yen, I think it's good value for money. I think it's suitable for dry seasons and those with dry skin.

It softens pores and dullness, gently enhancing the foundation of your base makeup. Rather than providing coverage, it evens out the skin, giving it a more natural glow than a glossy finish. Its moisturizing power is only moderate, so on days when you're concerned about dryness, it's best to use a proper skincare routine.
