ORBIS Cleanence Hydrifying Advanced Serum, 30ml (Herbal Woody)

This is the introductory serum to the Cleanence series. When I dispensed the dropper, I expected it to have a plump texture, but it was refreshing upon application. It absorbed easily and left my skin feeling firm. The lotion I applied afterward also absorbed well. I used the entire bottle, but I didn't experience any irritation. I had low expectations because the wipe-off lotion in the same line was quite mediocre, but this product pleasantly exceeded my expectations. Cassava-derived trehalose is used to firm the skin. Wild thyme extract and gardenia fruit extract are used to moisturize, hold in, and enhance radiance. It supposedly has a woody herbal scent, but I didn't really notice it. Perhaps the strength of the scent is just right for something you apply to your face. While it's a little on the pricey side for Orbis products, its upcycling system, which adds functionality to waste resources and utilizes them, is in line with the times, and the simple, stylish bottle design is also appealing.

I liked the sample I received from Orbis and the concept, and I bought this because I wanted to switch to something else since the Clarins serum I'm currently using is expensive. It came in a 5-6 drop size, so I apply 5 drops all over my face, then apply my toner with a cotton pad. It feels like I'm using a small amount, but it's summer, so I'll see how it goes. I've been using it only at night for about 3 weeks, and so far, it's been mixed. I like the feel and scent. I'm still using it in conjunction with Clarins, so I'll see how it goes with this alone for a while as the fall and winter approaches.

This product alone leaves my skin feeling plump and supple. It also holds a lot of lotion. I'd been interested in it for a while, but I hesitated to buy it because I prefer to try it in person. Then, I happened to walk into a store and saw a sample and the actual product! I immediately tried it on my hands and was so impressed with the absorption and plumpness that I immediately purchased it. I immediately used it at home, and the moment I spread it on my face, it absorbed smoothly. It didn't feel sticky or sticky; it absorbed naturally and left my skin feeling moisturized. When I applied lotion over it, I noticed it penetrated my skin faster than usual. The plump feeling lasted until the next morning. Of course, I also use it in my morning skincare routine, so it provides solid moisture all day. So far, my skin hasn't irritated, and I've been able to use it. Also, as others have said, I thought the container was glass, but it's actually plastic. However, perhaps due to the thickness and design of the plastic, it feels like a glass container, giving it a slightly more premium cosmetic feel. (My kids keep reaching for it when I use it, so it's nice that it doesn't break...) It's a bit pricey, but I plan to continue using it in various ways. ☆Additional comments after about a month: My skin has been almost perfectly fine for the past month! I used to get small pimples and my skin would get sensitive before my period, but that hasn't happened in the past month! I'm busy in the mornings, so I only use it at night, which leaves half the product unused, so it should last me about two months. I'll see how long the moisturizing effect lasts as summer ends and autumn/winter arrives.
