I use a special remover for mascara, so I don't know how it works, but it does remove eyebrow mascara and light foundation well. The oil is light and not thick. It emulsifies quickly and can be washed off with water. It doesn't leave a greasy feeling or make your lashes feel heavy. I haven't been particularly impressed with it, but when I'm on a budget, I think this is fine!
