I bought the Rosette Facial Cleansing Paste because it was so good. In my case, I have persistent acne on my chin, and it seems to be the type that requires peeling, so it doesn't really prevent acne. I haven't had any acne because of this, but it didn't make a difference when I used it when I had acne. It feels refreshing and has a nice scent, which I like. It doesn't have a sulfur scent. However, there wasn't anything that really made me decide it was the one. I'm now using it mainly on my body.
I think it's a refreshing lotion. The scent of cypress and yuzu is a bit strong, but it fades quickly, so even I, who don't like fragrances in cosmetics, didn't mind. I feel like the moisturizing power isn't enough in the winter, so I use it first after washing my face.

I have sensitive, oily skin. I was at a loss as to what toners for sensitive skin would suit me, but finally found this one. It contains concentrated glycerin, dipotassium glycyrrhizinate, sulfur, ceramide, is alcohol-free, and non-flavored! Plus, it's a large, cost-effective product! Is there a better toner out there? No, there isn't (irony). The feeling is refreshing (with just a touch of moisture). It's not a one-bottle moisturizer, so I apply another moisturizer over it. It doesn't leave makeup cakey, doesn't interfere with makeup application, and quickly reduces redness on my face, so I like it for those reasons. I also reconstitute it in a 100-yen gardening spray bottle (which can be sprayed upside down) and use it on my back and other parts of my body. I'm prone to back acne, but since using this product, my condition has improved and I haven't had any new breakouts. If I were to recommend this product, I'd recommend it for people in their teens and 30s, who tend to have oily skin. I've only seen it at Suzykirei and Don Quijote, but I hope it makes it to my store somehow. (There are many other acne-fighting lotions out there, but if you're looking for value for money, this is the one!)
Sulfur is also effective in preventing acne, and I really like Rosetta's sulfur-infused face wash, so I bought it. Upon receiving it, I discovered that the ingredient listed in the quasi-drug was not sulfur, but dipotassium glycyrrhizinate. If it had only been dipotassium glycyrrhizinate, that would have been normal, but I was a little disappointed because I was hoping to experience the benefits of sulfur. Since sulfur is the active ingredient in the face wash, I mistakenly assumed it was. But at this price, I'm regretting it. I'm not sure how much sulfur is in the formula. (Note: Quasi-drug cosmetics are allowed to list other ingredients in any order, as long as the active ingredients are clearly listed individually.) It's refreshing to use, and the mild yuzu scent is soothing, like an open-air bath in the forest. It's a large size, so I can use it on my body without hesitation, and it seems just right for back acne. Regardless of the sulfur's effectiveness, I didn't experience any acne or increase in acne with this product, so I thought it would be a great product to use daily. I was searching for a quasi-drug lotion that uses PS sulfur as an active ingredient, and I found one from Rosette! If you want to get the full benefits of sulfur, you might want to try this one too. By the way, it's called SF Beauty Water and costs about 2,000 yen for 150ml.
