The refreshing lemon scent leaves your skin feeling refreshed after washing. I'm not sure about the transparency, but it does leave a slightly tight feeling, so I think it's perfect for summer.
My skin has become rougher with the sudden change in seasons, and I've been noticing small bumps on my back, so I was looking for a gentle exfoliating product and this product caught my eye. I thought a soap would be easy to incorporate into my regular routine. To make it easier to manage, I cut it into about 1/3 of its original size with a knife, hang it on a foaming net, and store the rest in a ziplock bag. It lathers well. I also use a silk puff to efficiently remove dead skin cells that are starting to peel. The foam tends to flatten during washing, but I don't like it when the foam doesn't rinse off, so it doesn't bother me too much. Rinse it off and my skin feels refreshed and smooth. I thought it would be very drying, but it's actually gentler than I expected, so I think it would be fine to use it about twice a week on areas and at times where exfoliation is particularly noticeable. Don't forget to moisturize thoroughly. I recently realized that I'm not a big fan of the lemon scent, which is reminiscent of detergent, so I'll try the regular version (green) soon.
This facial soap has a peeling effect. The foam becomes fluffy and adheres to the skin, so after gently applying it to your skin and leaving it for a few minutes before rinsing, it cleanses your skin's dead skin cells and pores, leaving you with a very satisfying cleansing experience. It also feels great as all the skincare products you use afterwards are absorbed into your skin. With continued use, my dark spots have started to fade. I also use this in conjunction with other AHA facial soaps in the series.
I use it as a face wash, but I don't know if it has a peeling effect. I like the refreshing citrus scent.
Because it's a peeling soap, it really does remove roughness and dead skin cells, and I'm happy that it contains vitamin C derivatives, which also effectively removes dullness! Even though it's a solid soap, it lathers up quite well, with a rich, creamy lather that allows for friction-free washing.
