Prior Medicated Wrinkle Beauty Corset Foundation SPF35 (2 Medium), 30g

I consulted with a Shiseido customer about my dry skin concerns and purchased this product. Honestly, I was hesitant to buy it because it seems to be a brand aimed at older people, but it glides on smoothly and leaves a radiant finish. I'm so impressed! I'll definitely buy it again!

It's quick to apply, conceals blemishes, and leaves your skin looking beautiful and ready for those busy mornings. I don't use it in the summer, but I use it in the fall and winter.

My current liquid foundation has been discontinued, so I decided to try Prior, given my age. I bought it along with the Wrinkle Beauty Corset Gel. It didn't suit my skin tone, so I won't be repurchasing. After reading reviews, it seemed like choosing a shade would be difficult, so I received samples of shades 1 lighter and 2 medium before purchasing. I have dark, warm-toned, autumn skin, so I thought I had two choices: 2 medium or 3 darker. I didn't think the lighter shade was available, but I ended up buying shade 1 lighter. 2 medium was more orange? Yellow? than ochre, and it felt very unnatural. I tried applying shade 3 darker on my arm in the store, but it was too dark. On the other hand, shade 1 lighter didn't whiten my skin and blended in nicely with my skin. I wonder which shade would paler people choose? However, as I continued to use it, I realized it didn't quite work, so I'm now using it on specific areas. With three shades, the range seems a little limited... I definitely recommend getting a sample and trying it on your face before purchasing. Choosing a shade is very difficult. Also, it doesn't have great coverage, doesn't have a natural finish, gets into pores, doesn't give much shine, and doesn't seem to improve wrinkles (Wrinkle Beauty Corset Gel was better for this!), so unfortunately I won't be repurchasing it. However, this may be because my skin is a little dry and dull. Recently, there has been a wide range of colors available, and I've been thinking that it's hard to choose from them! But I thought that a foundation with a wide range of options and the ability to accommodate subtle differences in color would be better.

From mid- to late July this year, I used eight packets of the sample I purchased. There are two shades, and I use one every four packets. I tried it because the reviews were good. [Disadvantages]: Over time, my skin became dull and darker (even when I used a shade one shade lighter. It was the same even when I used the included makeup primer). Rather than breaking down in parts, it felt like the foundation thinned overall, dulled, darkened, and disappeared. It immediately clogged pores. It had good coverage right after application (though some people may find it thick). It made my skin look beautiful, but over time, it didn't look as beautiful. It actually became darker than my natural skin and looked dirty. The difference was huge. After removing my makeup, I often found myself thinking that it would have been better to just go bare-faced without this foundation. When I first applied it, I noticed that the fine lines around my eyes were less noticeable, but after a few hours, the effect seemed to disappear (this was not due to dryness). [Good points] Highly moisturizing When I first applied it, I experienced a slight itch, but it was within my tolerance. I won't buy it again, but the price is reasonable and I can easily find it at a drugstore.

I want to achieve the trendy glowy skin, but I have thin skin with lots of blemishes, so I need coverage and a certain level of makeup-like feel! Especially when I go out or wear a kimono! I've been using Lancôme liquid foundation for a long time, but it makes my skin tired and dry. I got a sample of this at the drugstore and tried it out. It's glowy, but has coverage, and it really makes my 50-something skin look beautiful! It removes dullness in the shadow areas! I add a thin layer of Dior Corrector to my cheeks and around my eyes, and it's so beautiful. I just powder it lightly on my brows and nose, and then leave it on, and it doesn't come off even when I sweat! I was hesitant to use Prior foundation, but Prior foundation makes me look younger! It's kind of glossy. It makes me look like I go to a beauty salon, like some kind of celebrity skin lol. I think Prior's packaging is really tacky, lol. But when I used this foundation on my skin that I've been taking care of with Clé de Peau, I looked at myself in the big mirror at the salon and thought, wow, I look so beautiful, I'm a beautiful old lady! lol
