I bought this as a foundation to prevent shine and cover pores. I'm still trying it out, but I think it's a good value for the money.
I bought the Mattifying product. It doesn't have any color, so I apply it before applying primer or CC cream. I have combination skin, so I use it on my forehead and nose. I always find myself worrying about oiliness after the day, and I'm worried about it becoming sticky and crumbling. However, when I use this product, my skin feels smooth and I don't have to worry about the oiliness or stickiness anymore. The first time I used it, I walked outside, and it didn't notice any stickiness or crumbling, which was great.
I use it on my nose and cheeks before applying makeup, where I'm concerned about pores. A small amount goes a long way, so it seems like a good value for the money. If you get a touch-up from a beauty advisor at a department store, they recommend applying it when you touch up your makeup. It helps reduce shine and sebum, allowing your makeup to go on even better.
I bought it because I had it used when getting my makeup done at the salon, but I didn't experience the same excitement as I did at the salon. I'm not sure if I'll buy it again.
It's a bright mint green, but it blends in well with my skin and lightly tones my complexion without dulling it, so I can apply it widely to the inside of my face. I already had redness around my nose, redness all over my face, and a strong redness under my dark circles, but as I've gotten older, I've also started to notice a duller complexion. While I need a firmer concealer or control color for my nose and dark circles, applying this shade allows me to correct my dark circles and nose and use a lighter foundation. If I only correct my nose and dark circles and then apply foundation, a duller complexion develops over time, but applying this shade helps to reduce that. I have thin, dry skin, so I appreciate the highly moisturizing texture. There are many green control shades out there, but this is my go-to for overall dullness. I can achieve a beautiful finish without foundation, just using a Cledo primer, Clarins green, spot corrector, and a dusting of powder.
